I think it is credited, it's pretty much as sturdy as you can expect given the dimensions. The legs are pretty heavy and help keep the center of gravity low. I don't have a whole lot of things on it but I think it could do 80lbs no problem

I've barely used the motorized function on it though, I've had it unplugged in an upright position for months now. I can't really speak to the motor function other than to say it works like you might expect it to.

I did attach a monitor mount directly to the desk, I worried about a cable catching somewhere while using the motor and sending my monitor crashing to the ground.

I should add, the reason I copped it in the first place is that I have lower back pain that flares up when I do a lot of sitting.

Between my standing desk and my memory foam mattress topper, I've GREATLY minimized my back pain.

If cheaper I'd just cop a pneumatic, manually adjusted one, but an adjustable standing desk is definitely nice to have. Just switching it up from time to time feelsgoodman

I've spent so much time with mine in an upright position that I guess I probably should have got a manually adjustable one, or even a fixed standing height desk. I pretty much never use the motor.

But I suppose I didn't really know that I would use it like this going into my purchase.

The pneumatic ones take basically no effort to lift. A small child could safely do it. I'd kind of lol at some bro with a motor.

I have the VariDesk model and have used it now for 3 months, during which time I have put it down/sat down maybe a handful of times.

Once you get used to standing up, you likely won't go back. One PROTIP is to definitely get a mat to stand on. I have this one and it's great.
