And the way he discusses his "conquests" tells us everything about how he views women.
Not one humane comment about women as individuals. All we hear about is "hunting" and numbers. How fast and how many. Logistics. How does he pump the system to produce raw numbers. No tenderness, no connection, no humor, no remorse, no angst, no relatable desire. Collect. Accumulate. Fucking. Bitches. Balls deep. Pound. Get her up to the apartment. Fuck her immediately. Add up the stats and report back to the internet. The whole concept of a harem. The absence of actual relationships of any sort.
It's all revolting in tenor and execution, no matter what's really happening. He's so profoundly angry at women that I can't even really wrap my head around how this kind of thing is some salve for his ego. I'm not the most progressive or anti-sexist person here and I genuinely can't find a square inch of common ground with his approach to all this. I also don't think he understands what drives his actions. And I'm not talking about a gap in introspection. I'm talking about full blown blindness to his own emotional and psychological health.
He seems to lack the capacity for violence or real malice, but this all amounts to degradation and dehumanization. It's serial killer shit without the carnage. His whole life revolves around fucking as many women as he can, by any means, not because he really loves fucking women but because he fucking hates women.
I realize that's all a facile analysis but I defy anyone to make the case that this is all the work of a guy who genuinely just loves new pussy and views women as human beings worthy of basic dignity and kindness.
Edit: I think twist already called attention to most of this in a more succinct manner. Just posting about it for edification because this is one of those odd cases that only XO seems to offer up on a regular basis. |
