Without Bing, Google would have a total monopoly in search, and without Hotmail they'd dominate email as well. Without Zune, iPod would have had a total monopoly. Without XBox, Sony would dominate the gaming market. Microsoft also has inferior but serviceable forays into tablets and and mobile. If google offered maps and a hangouts client it would be much more accessible. Tiles are nice though. Skype is good. Most disappointing I expected better office integration. I think the office of android is actually better, same with biz skype.
Bing is not nearly as good for search (outside of porn and images). |
