girl I know suffered maybe 100k in damages due to negligence of her professional consultant in a business venture. It's a pretty open and shut case, the consultant has already admitted wrongdoing. Wants to bring action against the consultant and her professional liability insurance policy.
It may go to arbitration if the arb provision in their contract stands. There's an attys fees provision so cost is not really much of a concern. |
