email all the dealerships in a 1-2 hour radius, ask them for best offer on X car. shop that around. ignore the ones that wont play ball. narrow it down to 2-3 choices. play them off each other and get the one you want
it helps if you call them and are like "i'm literally on my way to buy this car frmo your rival dealership for $xyz. if you can do xyz-$500 i'll turn around and buy it from you" |
