Friends with a retired Jewish grocer who knew Fred Trump personally

Told me that usually a representative of the company would come on a monthly basis and collect a rent check from him (like 50 years ago) but that on occasion, it would be Fred Trump himself. Every time Trump came into the store, he would have a conversation with this grocer and ask how business was going, how his personal life was. Just shows you the character of the Trump family. |
