i grew up on the "old center left" (i.e., the old fogeys who wrote for counterpunch, the nation, etc. in the late-80s early 90s, but were disgusted with Maoism, Stalin, etc.), then turned libertarian, then began to digest the paleocon and classic conservative perspective in the mid-90s.
sanders is a bought and paid for stooge, but at least he is not laughably corrupt & cardboard like clinton.
sadly, though, the prevailing power players in washington would tear through sanders' ass like tissue-paper. we need a real wily customer to deal with all the logrolling, graft, and corruption ~~ i hope trump is up to the task, but if not w/e. |
