I think if this class gets certified, we'll settle within a few months for millions and billions.

You have to think about what sort of message you're sending to your kids by letting her move back in and remarrying her. There are consequences to her actions and one of them is that she doesn't get to live a normal family life and pretend nothing happened just because she swears she's sober this time. You're risking more instability in their lives by letting her back in. I know you're a great dad but I also unfortunately think you care too much about your ex to stay strong enough to make sure she's far away from these kids. |

The consequences for her abandoning her entire family is that she needs to prove she can stay sober living on her own for at least 2-3 years, ideally even longer. I don't think she should be punished forever. She can have a relationship and visitation with the the kids but she doesn't get to live with them in their home after just a year of being sober.
