here's the faq:
so, why am i recommending the ICO? simply put, i think it has a good chance of popping (10x). it has an even greater chance of losing you money. in fact, i would go into the cosmos ICO with the expectation that you will likely lose most or all of your money because MOST ICOS FAIL.
moreover, your ATOM will only be distributed to you linearly over two years. this actually helps support the price but sacrifices liquidity.
the benefit of cosmos is it may allow ethereum (and other blockchains) to scale much, much faster. it is a general-purpose system for doing fast (relatively) trustless transactions across blockchains and within blockchains. it may even be used to create a decentralized cryptocurrency exchange.
i'm only putting in a few thousand dollars worth of ETH into this ICO. |
