It's a suite so there's a receptionist front desk, kitchen, conference rooms, etc. My practice is mainly federal court so all filing is online and service to all parties is automatic. I email as much as possible to avoid dealing with mail. Rarely go to court unless it's a settlement conference, but my office is a 5 minute Uber ride. If you're doing some sort of B2B sales with a nice roster of stable clients, you probably don't have to do much. I know a couple people in that position. They primarily make money of the relationship, not effort. One of them has made about $250k/year for a decade selling fiber optic and electrical cable to largely the same buyers. He has enough free time to run a second, full fledged business on the side.
That's a long way from cold calling, pitching, and all that shit. |

Law at least has barriers to entry and is a more likely path to a stable career. Also the average person on the street is more impressed by law than sales, all else being equal.
