The thing about the cryptos and honestly most investing: you need $$$$ upfront

oh wow you made 5K or some shit, big whoop
the risk for someone who is using money that they need just to stay afloat is too much
so yeah someone with 300K in liquid $$$ can just play around and they can seriously make it, and if is tanking okay they sell and whatever move on and still get like 5% returns or w/e from their normal investment fund
but until then, you're just a cuck

what I wrote is really not novel it's basically the essence of why compound interest makes sense
but I see peterman and others going nuts and they should I mean congrats, for real, you may have 100K
but that's shit
all it does it get you in the door to start actually investing, and it's still risky and you still need to wage cuck it up
300, maybe 500K+, okay, then I can see someone seriously leveraging that money

I was going to invest 3K
i was like ok this is a reasonable amount for someone with 50K in a savings account, maybe I coulda done 5K, but it's a reasonably conserva-moderate play
so let's say after taxes I cop a sweet 10K off bitcoin. great! legitimately, that's wonderful, but it changes nothing for me, and that requires bitcoin to have seriously risen, no hacks, sold at the right time
now if I were able to go fuck everyone and drop 50K on it and then say wow, it's going up and throw another 50K, then yeah, that 100K of ETH investment is going to be ridiculous
for everyone else, you're just bobbing your head above water a little bit more

I agree it's a ladder but we got some chumps on here thinking they skipped a few too many rungs
rich guys getting rich: sure
peterman and luis: okay, welcome to the table now, but that's about it

time is the key ingredient to most investing, yes.
just think every dollar you put in SP500 index at 20 is probably 5x at your retirement.
