Sit around all day with nothing to do then the client dumps the latest draft of whatever agreement we have so that we can "turn" it overnight. Then it takes literally 2 hours to do edits that would take 5 minutes on a brief, because you have to go through some sort of daisy chain of emails and calls to do it. Working for smaller entrepreneurial clients (who are usually rich as fuk) is much more interesting, as they look at you as more of an advisor, and bring you in for advice, both legal and business, from day 1 of a transaction and for any important decision. |
