-Towns often needed little prompting to participate in these measures- turning over Jews and pointing them out, (and in some accounts killing them before being occupied by the Germans).

-From what I have seen they were not hard to spot. They made up a tremendously outsize portion of the Soviet political officers, Enforcers of Stalin, and a purging of Soviet Officers as a group would necessarily kill many Jews.

History often taught in the US to effect:'Germans evil, only feel h8, we are gr8, we saved world'. Germans appear as 2d cartoons, actions and motivations become unbelievable. If History ever looks like that, there is probably something missing.
