You dont hear the same from white europeans about muslims in europe.

1. If it has a higher median household income than most cities, it isn't by very much. I'm seeing $52k in SA and $51k average in U.S. No big deal.
2. It is a city of several hundred thousand people, so comparing it to most cities in America is silly.
3. Very familiar. Close relative used to live there. It was never nice, but used to be much nicer. An English speaker used to be able to get around. Not the case anymore.
