I've been waiting for an entry point, and while I expect the market to fall more, I'd love to get a taste of a 10% run.

Think Asia is going to give us a bump? Not sure if things are going to hold up right now.

It's an OK entry point but not one I'd be extremely confident in. If ETH can show some stability here, the chart looks very bullish and I'd expect a new all time high. If it doesn't stabilize, I'd wait for a massacre to buy in. Look at the double top at $400 on the chart. Last time it crashed to $130. It won't go that low this time, but I could see it a bit below $200 in the worst case scenario.

It seems like ETH is hinged to BTC at the moment, and the only way for it to break free from the .07 peg will be some hype like Metropolis. That's the main reason I follow BTC charts right now.

So much for that fucking rally. Maybe Mrs. Watanabe will come along and buy some coins.

i've done back-tests testing simple moving average rules.

if the price is below the 5 to 10 day moving averages, it tends to be very bearish.

on the flip side, if the price fall below the moving averages due to a sharp crash, those crashes tend to reverse.

unfortunately, we're in a pretty steadily downward grind, so my outlook is bearish.

How low will it go? No one know.

I want to tell my friends that this is the time to buy in, but I would feel bad if they did and ETH dropped another 50%.

I just keep on buying more on every dip though. When the Chinese finally sell all their ETH, the only way is UP.

I doubt the true bottom of this dive has been discovered yet. Wasn't BTC trading at $2,500 on Chinese platforms? We might see $150 ETH and $2,000 BTC by the end of the week, if not lower.

It's wierd though. The third largest crypto exchange in China announced this morning that they would not allow crypto trading past 9/30. It goes without saying that the other large crypto exchanges in China will follow suit. At what point do people invested in crypto (including those in China) stop being surprised?
