they have no tech background, they have no real knowledge about the industry. they just don't have regular jobs and are able to digest a lot of information about key dates, product releases, and ico administrivia.
they're inside-traders. i guarantee they have techniques to exploit the system. i'm 100% sure they have burner phones, pay foreigners for their ids to get multiple ICO accounts for kyber, pool together resources to get into chainlink presale, etc.
these guys are leeches, a drain on the system, like the wall street fat cats that the average man deplores. on the same level as those penny stock pump-and-dumpers who went to jail. and exeunt, he's a dancing clown on top of all that.

all exeunt does is hold eth and go for big-name projects that any idiot can tell you will succeed. oh so tezos is going to be a big deal? wow! you mean to tell me 0x and kyber are worth investing in? holy shit!
here's his record when he goes against the grain:
-myst (LOL)
-zcash, particularly over monero (LOL)
-bat (LOL, unless you got into the ico, which no one did)
then he acts cagey over the winnings of his "crypto crew" and prances around like an asian fairy, heading to wal-mart to buy more burner phones and trawling the deep web for foreign ids. rent-seeking leeches.

zrx was a no-brainer. like holy shit do you live under a rock?
eth is synonymous with the crypto market in general (it did average for an alt-coin given the timing)
he did not invest in dnt. you did. giving a nod of approval doesn't mean shit, he did NOT advocate it to any extent. and look at it now.
we can say, being completely fair, that exeunt has done no better and no worse than a reddit-curated market portfolio. perhaps worse!

let's just call zcash a fucking failure, especially compared to monero which did x3.
to be fair to exeunt, he's 2/4, and only on the big name obvious calls.
lmfao if you think "financial analysis" has any weight in crypto. just rent-seeking hustlers who'll do/say/think anything to give themselves a veneer of expertise and desert.

brother, i realize there's a risk that you take this as a personal attack and lash out at me but you should hear me out because its not. ive watched you struggle with crypto for a while now and lash out at people have who have made money and its not cool. some advice for you - try to remove yourself and your ego from your approach to crypto. if someone is consistently successful try to learn why and how instead of being jealous attacking them. ive seen you try to talk your own book, recommend coins with little to no reasoning and then get pissed at the world because it backfired on you. thats the wrong approach and its no surprise to anyone why you've lost money.
instead, look at what the smart money is doing, mimic how they are approaching this, and try to pick up on stuff and make logical decisions based on all the data you can find. many funds and advisory services have posted criteria for evaluating ICOs, projects, and token economies. they aren't perfect, but its your job to use them as a tool and make logical decisions. look deeply into ICOs, read white papers - it's all online. if you dont have the time to do that, dont invest in crypto. best of luck

i have not lost money in crypto, i was joking about that. the others that you cite have had greater success largely because of market timing and, as i said in this thread, illicit rent-seeking behavior regarding icos.
in fact, i have beat the market by a considerable amount. the biggest thing i got absolutely hosed by was DNT, and even still i'm still up a considerable percent.
i certainly think there are things worth learning from more established institutions and whatnot, but the crypto bubble we are residing in operates according to its own logic at the moment. if you wanted to only listen to established players, you might as well go with the advice of jamie dimon and warren buffet who call bitcoin a scam.
