Decided out of the blue to go to the rock gym with my friends. Took a 10 minute class on how to tie the knots and belay safely and off we went. Started on the baby climbs (lowest difficulty), and started working my way up. Turns out an acquaintance of mine goes twice a week, so I went with him tonight and did an even more difficult route. It was 180. Super exhilarating, feels great to reach the top, sort of shit to slip off and have your buddy catch you with the rope. There is the constant fear of death, but you are mostly safe, although the possibility of the rope snapping crossed my mind, but it is unlikely.
Tons of thin hot blondes walking around in spandex, not as bitchy looking as girls at the gym, definitely a smarter crowd, college crowd. Can't wait to go back again.

I rock climbed back in high school in the summers...after only 3 weeks of doing it 5 hours a day I had rock hard muscles and very low body fat %
