It's kind blowing how my company has most of its employees hired in 2016 and 2017. Only like 8 people hired before 2012. And company has been around since 2006.

what sort of business? a lot of scam businesses rely on turnover, dont want people to stay too long and "figure it all out"

Healthcare billing industry/insurance billing

And I get that but companies pay their workers while they provide training. So you're wasting your money to train them and you're also wasting other workers times to train new employees. It doesn't make sense to me if they then quit in 3-8 months.

paying peanuts helps, what sort of "training" are they getting? also again, it may be worth the $ hit to avoid a random incel infiltrating the scheme and ruining everything

HIPAA training

And companies usually have software for billing and data entry so it's a bit complicated since software is tailored to company and you need to learn it even tho u have work experience

High turnover rates appear to be built into the business model for a lot of shitty companies

How's that beneficial for a company and for the morale of employees. Seems like you're just wasting money to find new employees, train them, and then have them quit on you.

Uber gets by because they are actually in the business of selling a vision to investors, not rides to riders

I know lots of midsize businesses that I've worked at (200-450 employees) where the turn over was high.

probably cuz higher salaries are not justified by the nominal increase in skill and knowledge that the people get from these shit jobs
