She has accepted the gospel of ACP on certificates. Over the last half decade, she has earned no less than THREE certificates from top schools like Georgetown, Stanford, and Johns Hopkins, which she did mostly online and in a matter of months. The certificates are in things like Public Policy, Budget Analysis, and other things relevant to her job. She proudly lists all of them on her resume and believes they will one day help her get a better job because they add prestige to her resume and are related to skills desirable in a manager at her agency. Further, she believes so much in the transformative power of these certificates that she constantly recommends them to friends or people she meets at parties. She will even email links to certificate programs to friends and contacts she thinks could benefit from them, unsolicited.
