i meant the rachel scene with jared leto
this is how i would have reworked it - K finds Deckard in LV. Then Deckard introduces him to the resistance and K finds out he is not the child. LUV then attacks them and takes away deckard. straight to the water battle scene
I would have added couple of more mins to the first jared leto scene to add more exposition to why the replicant reproduction was so important from both perspectives - leto wanting more replicants to build off world colonies and Robin Wright fearing a replicant uprising once they can reproduce independently which basically takes away human control

- joi's death didn't work. if she had "died" by being wiped by the corporation and spying on/betraying K, that would've worked so much better.
- the scene with the replicant rebels in the hide out was hokey and needed reworked. the "all the replicants step forward" bit was cringe-inducing.
- both K and Deckard surviving the water fight made the end too busy and sentimental
- Leto's character was absurd and they need to stop giving him roles
- the replicant rebels in general made the last third too busy, what with K, the corporation, the police, and Deckard also running around

Visually it was fantastic, and the plot and dialogue were better than I was expecting. The music was fitting but frequently overpowering, though that may have been because of the theater's sound system.
With that said, I can see why it's bombing. To begin with, it's long and slow. I love good cinematography as much as the next film aficionado, but even for me it was a bit taxing. But more than that, it's literally a movie made for fans of the original Blade Runner. You can't really appreciate the plot unless you were a fan of the original.
