I was like “ooh, these TAs got into a good grad program and are creating scholarship” and not only respected them but followed their instructions and even looked up to a few of the smarter ones.
Now I’m like lol: all of those TAs made horrible life decisions and most are likely poor as shit today.

i felt sorry for most of them. looked miserable.
at my ivy, most TAs were nice and chill. only a few were on a power trip. most didnt give a shit and wanted to do the minimum and realized they were there to do research and didnt care if you wanted extra points and were happy to give it to you.
