Date: October 23rd, 2017 10:48 AM Author: contagious cobalt sanctuary digit ratio So at this camp thing my kid did on Saturday they had a Ham Radio activity and that involved using walky talkies for fun. the odd ham radio enthusiast handed each of us a walky talky, including my 7 year old kid, and told the kid to go walk away, way over there. No instructions for use--and there were like 8 knobs on the thing. So of course kid has no idea how to work the walky talky, and he's way over yonder, so I have to call him back and have the guy explain how it works. The neckbeard guy--and he was really a guy w a neckbeard--said, "Well it's pretty obvious, I mean, ... " and a non-neckbeard normal dad who was standing nearby was sort of rolling his eyes at neckbeard, like, of course you have to tell the kid how to work it first. Is the guy's ineptitude at his One Job To Do a Scouting doofus thing or a Ham Radio doofus thing? |
