If baby is collicky wait it out. 90% of the time it goes away after 6 months bc it's just a whiny ass baby bitching about gas pain bc their stomachs are too small and still building up enzymes or whatever else. Our second was collicky and at 5 months we were both on the verge of murdering each other and any random stranger that crossed our paths and looked at us funny. Two months later the 5 hour nightly crying sessions stopped and he started sleeping through the night and it was relief like finding out your paperwork was switched with someone else and in fact you don't actually have stage 4 terminal ass cancer.

If she's working, she's probably feeling angst about that.

Sit her down at a time when baby is occupied and ask her what she needs right now. Time to herself? Time with friends? Time with you? Time with baby? Then make it happen.
