I watched some show called Lore. The first episode was about a woman in 19th century Connecticut who keels over one day. Her friends and medical help declare her dead and bury her in a casket in the churchyard. Friend starts having nightmares about her dead friend screaming for help underground. The townsfolk dig up the casket and find that the woman wasn't actually dead at the time. Her face is contorted in sheer horror from having been buried alive, her hands propped up in a clawing motion and her nails ground to dust from clawing at the coffin lid.
