school, you'd be better off... to those of your whose parents helped them.

imagine... BAM... you're 18, you put 200K In the stock market, never even look at it again.

Then you just kind of work shitty jobs for the next 20 years, saving just a couple grand a year.

you probably check your stock balance and it's like 700K-1 million...

instead, most of you go to law school and your balance is -100K at age 38.

Honestly, going to college and grad school was the worst mistake I ever made. Basically ended up doing all of that just to get a job I hate before leaving to start my own business 3 years after graduating. I could have invested the $350k that was used for school, put it in the market, and been worth over $1mm by now.

what is an even larger disaster is the return of k-12 education. that is 11k a year on average, so a cost of 13 years is 143k. The vast majority of american CITIZENS will never pay this back, not to mention the plethora of immigrants and illegals we just given this too. We're doomed bro's

tbf, that might be a better expense. wish my parents could have afforded non-public school and saved me the daily, compounding psychological damage over 12 years of having to deal with inner city nigs and white trash. every day was pure hell.

My in laws paid 1.2 MILLION cash for their 2 kids' educations (full cash private undergrads + grad schools plus some private school pre-college)...one makes like 60k, and the other is still in school until 40 and will likely never make more than 150k

the funny part is they still think "education is super important"

LJL @ these dumbass boomers

this is how my generation got brainwashed and indoctrinated from birth by dumb boomer parents and teachers. was all part of a scam they bought into as education costs inflated astronomically and inexcusably.

now our lives are ruined. at least the ones, like me, whose parents couldn't afford to pay a cent.

CR, boomers are fucking idiots

my parents told me to go to cheap as fuck college though, so kudos for that

wish they told me never to go to law school

the funny part is my dad thinks education is scam in general aside from college - he turned down a place for a PhD at Harvard to work because he thinks "PHDs are wastes of time" and you should just work to make money

law school was my undoing. really wish they would have warned me, as well. i was still a naive kid with no understanding of finances.

I'm really hoping my child becomes an electrician/trains for a trade at some cheap apprenticeship school or does programming at a cheap/free college

I will disown it if it goes to grad school

I used to count my bennies as a kid and store it in a secret stash and never touch it. Every Xmas, I'd get cash from relatives and just keep it somewhere safe and never spend it.

And then I went to law school...FMA
