The Nebraska rivals guys have been heavily insinuating that things are looking really good regarding Frost to Nebraska. I think they've been avoiding directly reporting anything so they don't piss off the athletic department.
One of the writers said he got two texts on Wednesday night from two separate power 5 coaches at different schools relaying that they heard Riley had essentially been fired and Frost was coming in.
All of the coaches talk frequently, so it seems likely that something went down last week.

I hate pro-style offenses in college, especially at Nebraska, and that is what he runs I believe. If you look strictly at recruiting rankings they shouldn't have had a problem. It would have been fun to watch this type of offense at Nebraska.
It is crazy how we are closing in on nearly 20 years with practically no high-points for NU football. No conference championships, no 11 plus win seasons, no big bowls, very few big wins and usually utter humiliation or heartbreaking losses in big games. Always losing 4+ games a year. We need Frost to come to Nebraska. There badly needs to be an infusion of energy and hope. |
