Only HArbaugh has that sheer force of will. Harbaugh forced the administration to bend the knee, invest $$, and loosen academic standards for football players. Hoke simply didn't recruit Oline his last two years and Harbaugh is doing his best to deal with it and despit that Michigan's run game has started to look pretty good (notwithstanding this past Saturday) despite having no viable passing threat.
Not really fair to compare the two programs right now but Shaw is pretty damn good regardless of Harbaugh's effort in building up Stanford. |

This year??? Speight looked bad which was surprising but Peters shows promise. It's tough to tell with either, though, as the pass protection has been one of the worst in college football this year. |
