Mario Odyssey vs BOTW.

Because BOTW is Zelda / Nintendo trying to do Skyrim / Bethesda and, while excellent, it didn't have the soul of a Zelda title; I found myself playing BOTW and often being impressed without necessarily having fun. While Odyssey is the pure, distilled essence of what a Mario game should be in 2017 and was a romping joy to play minute-by-minute.
To put it another way, I can almost guarantee there will be another, better open-world or quasi-open-world Zelda title in the next ten years as Nintendo gets better at that style of game. Ten years on, Odyssey I think is going to be spoken of in the same reverential way that 64 is--it's that good. |

Odessey felt like Mario 64 and was fun and casual. I could pick it up and play 15 min or 4 hours and it was fun every time. |

The next opportunity for another 64 would be if Nintendo ever did VR. But I think Odyssey will be regarded with reverence like 64. It's just a notch below, necessarily.
64 on the virtual console will be great, btw. |

I expect $150–200 of profit, but I won't be shocked if some sell for $700+ starting around the 22nd.
tip: take shots of the SEALED product in your nice home so you don't seem like some sketchy nigga who swiped them from a truck and people will be much more willing to buy from you. |
