As much as I love bars, hot girls, and all the cool stuff that goes with living in an awesome city, I love being out on the water fishing & shrimping so much, and the vibe in South Carolina is so awesome I can’t imagine giving it up. Also, raising kids where i’m at is pretty sweet, and I don’t think I would enjoy trying to do it in NYC (assuming a successful divorce).
However, I miss pro sports deeply. That’s the one thing that I will never get used to in living in SC - the total lack of interest in pro sports. |

I also grew up going to Dodgers games in Los Angeles, one my favorite things in the world to do. In Charleston we have a great single-A team with a great little stadium, and it is really fun, but it’s not the same as MLB.
I don’t know, if I was single, pretty much girls would be the number one thing that would be on my mind, but the single women situation down here is pretty good. |
