Cooley Law FIRES BACK in lawsuit against ABA (rate this metaphor)

The ABA came back saying our findings were valid, etc. Cooley's reply brief compares the ABA to the proverbial cat pushing a cup off a table: "But like a cat who looks you in the eye while he pushes a cup off a table, [the] ABA decided to publish the decision anyway, and now claims that the injury it caused means the court will no longer be able to fashion Cooley a remedy..."
"Cooley’s median GPA is 2.90, and the median LSAT score is 141," Cooley's *median* LSAT score is in the FIFTEENTH percentile. You can score bottom quartile and then go style all over these retards |

This is still crazy to me. The LSAT is 100 questions, all A-E. 140 is about 40 questions right. A random guessing strategy would yield 20 "right" answers on average, and given the number of test takers a fair bit of variance, meaning that the median Cooley student only improved on a random guessing strategy by 20 questions. And half of them did worse than that. There must be at least a few who were, essentially, random guessers but got "lucky" and scored a 135 or so that they absolutely could not replicate.
Student loans have been a disaster. |
