Does XO seriously not remember that RSF used to claim his dad made him go to LS?

he stated this all the fucking time when he was miserable during his one year at the shitty firm he worked for (RSF RACING in her to insist they start associates above market - that's not the point and a hundred small firms in MFH do the same to account for CoL, 90% of them are not good firms including where you worked). he made it clear that he was just riding out his time and then he intended to lounge it up first class Lufthansa-style 4ever.
he completely denies this now of course, along with constantly insinuating he was at CLS/NYU rather than fordham. this motherfucker is one of the most notable and entertaining posters in board history but LJL at a wealthy adult constantly foisting these fraudlies on the board for no goddamn reason. is he a fantasist? egomaniac? what the fuck is the point of lying about this shit? his life is incredible without any embellishment. |

the thing that is crazy is that so many improbable and impressive things are true. he's rich for life with family money, he's tall, he does fly around the planet all the time like a travel shrew on steroids. so it's insane that despite all the good fortune and his unique lifestyle, he still has this compulsion to portray himself as somehow even better than IRL when he seeks an audience on the internet. |

Date: November 22nd, 2017 12:10 PM Author: flickering boltzmann hospital I strongly doubt his dad gave a flying fuck what law school his son attended. his credentials aren't prestigious. he's just a hardworking boomer who maed it back when you could get rich in law through sheer hard work and a little savvy. of course he's much richer than 99% of the lawyers who have ever lived, so there's some element of talent and know-how that we're missing, but he's not some legal rockstar absent all the lucrative plane crash class litigation.
i can see him being disappointed that his son doesn't really do anything with his life, but most boomer parents, especially the rich, are exceedingly forgiving and indulgent about that stuff. it blows the mind of mega strivers and NOWAGs who have cultural pressure to the point of fixation when it comes to high achievement, but it's possible his family doesn't care at all.
what's fucking weird is that like the CLS stuff, he used to repeat this woe-is-me-daddy-made-me-work-for-a-year routine all the time, now he completely denies it. is he disowning the bullshit because it's embarrassing or disowning the truth because it's embarrassing? |
