They'd never admit to specifically that, but if you asked them what they thought the marginal utility of money after $5 million was, they'd probably go into some rant about their "legacy" or "life extension technology."
Whatever life is about, it's not striving. Because you don't even need to strive to get what a striver lifestyle can give you.
The only thing you can really improve is quality of life, and once you've escaped starvation, additonal quantity of life is really hard to get, a billion dollars doesn't actually mean you live to 1000 years old or anything like that. the key to tquality of life is intangibles. Trying to 'up your number' is literally a retard way of life. |
