feb is an awesome time to do day hikes in the redwooods. the beauty really shines in late winter. if youre really ambitous you could drive way up north to the redwood national park area/humbold...some of the most majestic redwoods in the world there. but you need a few days for that trip
around here, shit like big basin will be cool. purisima creek redwoods in half moon bay was prob my favorite places to hike during that time of year as far as the south bay and peninsula
will let you know once i know china is a sure thing. id def travel around
