I really like the tall men shoes lifts because how they're built into the shoe, but none are as small as 1", I think
lifts are like the topping of a salad: they don't make you tall, they're just an extra "lift" like make up on a woman or a pushup bra, just a little "extra" to help you in this competitive world |

XO aspies don't understand the psychological effect this has on hiring committees and proles -- they don't treat it like HBS but you get to scrape pieces of prestige and plaster it on you
and IMO H is actually an unreasonable place to do a certificate; you can get better, cheaper ones at Stanford and Northwestern and the more you aim for a "reasonable" place (e.g. a T25 school vs T3) their alumni are less likely to fight you on whether you "attended," because they don't have such a stick up their butt about protecting their elite status
my argument is that anyone who lacks an elite school degree, in a credentialist obsessed society, has ever incentive to spend the small amount of $ (less than 10K) to get the NAME of at least ONE prestige school on their resume, no matter how unrelated to their field
but obviously something tangentially related to your work would be cr |

I think a degree is always > a cert because you get the official title of MA or whatever
but think about it: for a fraction of the cost, time, and effort, you can get a certificate from a prestigious school and get IMHO 50-75% of the same effect on hiring officials, lay people, your grandparents who want you to succeed
