You start off making basic things like randomly blinking LED lights for security cameras, signal amplifiers. You move into more advanced things like stepper motors, synthesizers, little LCD games like Game and Watch or Tetris. The premise is that you're an engineer in Shenzhen. You have to take into account the price of the chips you are using. You can even take shortcuts, put out faulty designs that "cheat" by passing compliance tests but would shit out in the long run.
