Kurzweil subscribes to all sorts of flame theories about supplements, etc. He is likely hastening his demise by taxing his excretory systems with his busy pill-popping schedule. It is crazed!

The deeper problem, as we've discussed, is that the boomers are a generation of infantile sociopaths. They think they will live forever, they venerate youth, they are in perpetual adolescence and think someone will come along to clean up their mess. They feel no shame in fucking things up, or leaning on the next generation---only Gods could deserve the Love they got from the universe.

Now that their days are counting numbered, and the shadow of death is on them, you can inspect their madness in slow motion. They cannot accept that death and limits bring meaning to life, as they've always thought of their lives as endless and potential limitless; the classic infantile narcissist pattern. So they take desperate action to make-pretend they're still young and full of vigor and will be so forever.

It would be deeply sad, but for the harm they've caused. It remains pathetic. They will die.
