Presentation went great and I was killing it. Partners and the board were fired up. Then I got a bit overconfident/full of myself saying "We're going to make [competitor] our little bitch. Fuck them right up their asses." One partner laughed uncomfortably while the only female partner in the room stared daggers into my soul. The rest just stood silent. I doubled down and went after one of the guy partners who looked pissed and started mock humping him in the middle of the board room.
Did not go over well.
Got called into an HR meeting and told them I had anxiety issues giving the big board meeting presentation and took the Xanax because my shrink advised it. Showed them all the doctors records etc. I just had to apologize and wasn't a big deal, but this was in 2012. In 2018 probably would be fired immediately. |

but the reduction in inhibitions can be helpful. you just have to be real careful with dosing. |
