Anyone found a good tax calculator for the new tax plan?

Specifically need on that will include savings from getting rid of AMT.

taxplancalculator.com, but I dunno how good it is for higher-income people with more complex taxes.

thanks. that's the one i found, but it doesn't handle AMT unless you do it manually, which i'm not too confident in.

yeah, based on his steps, it says i'm going to save a ton of money (basically all due to elimination of the AMT), but i want to verify that elsewhere because i expected to be paying a lot more (umc income, high tax state, expensive house).

if you are in a high tax state and pay AMT, it probably phases out most of your deductions already anyways. SO it's probably a wash for you.

My understanding is AMT under the new plan doesn't kick in until $500k income for single filers / $1mm married filing jointly, so if under the limit you can pretty much just add whatever you paid in AMT last year as additional savings (or offset) to whatever taxplancalculator.com tells you.

Not quite - last year, you could deduct unlimited state income tax. So adding back AMT may give you credit for deductions that would be disallowed under the new plan (ie taxes over 10,000)
