Use skipkagged.com and consider buying two one-ways, instead of a round trip - it may be cheaper, especially if you don’t need to check bags and can thus take skipjagged flights.
Avoid the Caribbean, which is heavily saturated at this time and expensive relative to other times of the year. Europe is cheap in the winter because of the colder weather. Asia isn’t bad at this time, either, because there’s no Christian/Jewish holiday rush. Places like Argentina and Brazil are expensive, but other parts of LatAm would be ok
