Used to love Drew Margery but he’s quickly jumped even Simmons in terms of getting out of touch and losing his edge.
Like Deadspin now has two articles out acting like Bill Simmons came out like a 9/11 truther, when all he did was ask questions about an anonymously reported ESPN article that the Patriots denied.
It’s not crazy to ask who is telling ESPN that the Patriots were going to carry $42 million in QB money for two years. And Simmons isn’t even saying the Pats don’t have problems he was just trying to figure out who was saying all this and why. |

ESPN is not losing money solely because of lib policies, but you have to acknowledge it is an issue when tens of thousands of people are saying they don’t watch ESPN because it is too liberal.
Then they all defend Jemelle Hill even though her show is reviled and rates poorly. ESPN puts on a barstool show that sets ratings records and they cancel it after one episode because of Sam Ponder who no one gives a shit about.
and if I pointed out that cancelling your highest rated show debut for political reasons might be one reason your network is rating poorly, they would mock me and lump me in with pizzagate |
