It is uniquely sad to see what our society has done to women. At 32, she had everything society told her to get: a great career,, great friends and fun hobbies. But as I got to know her better, you could tell that all her achievements pales in comparison to the fact that she may not meet her biological imperative to have children. This fundamental fear drove a series of desperately clingy decisions which drove me away.
I will date someone this old only when I reach my late 40s, which is probably when I’ll start feeling pressure to have kids. This relationship was super eye opnening into gaining insight as to how our society has driven women into misery. Sad! |
