That very night a power surge hit my apartment while I was sleeping & blew out the motherboard. Shipped it to Acer. Got an email today that the repair is complete & they’re shipping it back. Looks like they are covering it under warranty, thank God. |

How is the screen? Specs looks great but a few have said they didn’t like the screen.
Have you run any games on it? Does it run too hot? |

The only games I really ran on it were Civ V & VI & Football Manager.
I’m very pleased with the graphics card. Blows away the 740m or 840m I had on my previous laptop.
Civ VI is just generally slow in the end game, though. I had the laptop shut itself down once bc it overheated on Civ VI, so, yes, it can get pretty hot. |
