Just spent the weekend in La Jolla. My home state is experiencing life threatening blizzards right now. It is legitimately a lot nicer here and some people will justifiably pay whatever the price if they make a lot of money.
I also got about a 35% pay increase when I moved out here and my wife is making around $60 more an hour than she would in most other states. You get paid more here to compensate for the high COL and taxes. |
