I don’t think it means much, but the Dems didn’t do a good job explaining the shutdown. Plus, the shutdown barely even matters - people visited parks, DC, etc, employees miss a half day of work, stock markets are still up, etc. Plus, most Americans support DACA but it’s simply not top of mind for a majority of Americans, and not top of mind for a big portion of Dem voters. Negotiate a DACA fix in immigration negotiations with Trump regarding the wall and other stuff.
Looks like the shutdown will end today, but Dems messed this one up a bit |

Shutting down the government over DACA doesn’t make much sense
Illegal immigrants are gonna be harassed until Trump is gone. Focus on things that make him less popular. In the meantime, the country is getting less white regardless of what Trump and Miller do, the demographics will come good for libs |
