A bunch of you dumb faggots are going to disagree, because your conception of the state ends at LA and Silicon Valley, but large swaths of the state are just as deeply conservative as you'll find anywhere in the country. California also contains the broadest range of climates in the US, probably has the most farmland, and has the developed urban infrastructure most states lack.
