If the hypo is that I'm stuck there forever and at that salary - City of LA. $130k for a part-time job (essentially what it is) with pension is better than $200k for a 50-60 hr/week job with high stress.
Finally, this assumes similar jobs. I would take a job in an area I'm interested in either over a job I wouldn't be. |
