This worked well, so I didn't eat the next day either, or the next, or the day after. Finally I ate again after a four-day fast, but then I quickly followed it with another five-day one. Loss of muscle mass on a long fast is a real concern if you're already an avid lifter. That mattered less to me because when I started I wasn't lifting so I was just a fat-fat with very little muscle. That said, if you continue your lifting regimen while fasting muscle loss won't be as bad. |

It's really just a perfect storm of a lot of factors, but the biggest ones are probably that
1. I think meaningless flings or P&D's are immoral,
2. Most women don't interest me much, and

Of course. It's not a particularly bad one compared to some other things, but it is still missing the mark. More pragmatically, having a lot of prior partners makes it harder for a person to permanently bond with somebody. Look at XO for proof of that.
That said, I've never really said that I need to marry a virgin. I just consider it ideal. There are other things that are probably bigger obstacles. |

2. I have been lifting for about six months. I currently use my apartment gym which is a bit limited; it doesn't have a free weight barbell and its dumbbells max at 50 pounds. I'm still experimenting a bit but my routine is roughly alternating between upper-body (bench, overhead, curls, lat pulldown, triceps curl/pulldown, pull-ups) and lower-body (crunches, leg raises, shitty dumbbell deadlift, and like 5 different machines to make up for not being able to do squats). I'm planning to join a real gym soon and when I do the lower-body regimen in particular should improve.
Also I do a fuckton of push-ups.
3. I have not read nearly enough Aquinas to answer this question. My friends have always been way more into theology than I am. |
