Its FCF is strong and growing (if you include capital leases, FCF growth is slightly negative). The outflow is on the investing cash flow side, which makes total sense given Amazon's massive spending in capex and acquisitions.
Its margins and earnings are steadily improving. Where you will see inefficiencies is abroad, where Amazon is intentionally losing a ton of money to establish its foothold in countries such as India. It's to be expected.
