There were US airstrikes on the 7th and the 8th and the 10th of February so combat continued for at least 4 days which would not have been the case had the US magically destroyed 2 battalions in the field.

Anyway, today the Soviet press is acknowledging the previously classified agreements to sell 500 BMP-3s to Iraq and 900 to Saudi Arabia. We are kicking Yankeestan the hell out of the middle east one deal at a time.
