2010+ Boxster S on the expensive end, 2016+ Mazda MX-5 for sensible but very fun, 2018 2.0T Accord or 2018 Mazda 6 Turbo for more practicality

'01 clk 55 amg. Pocket the remaining 35k and save it for average annual maintenence costs over the next four or five years of ownership. In the meantime you will be driving a limited production very high performance coupe that sold new for 75k. http://winchester.craigslist.org/cto/d/clk-55-amg/6482845879.html

This is pretty dependent on the attributes you want in a car. Rank the following:

1. Looks (I know its subjective but still rank it)

2. Speed

3. Reliability / Upkeep Costs

4. Creature Comforts

5. Type of car, you must at least know if you want an SUV, hatchback, coupe, sedan, etc. Also do you care about new vs. used.

Best generic answer for a new car is the Accord Touring with the 10 speed auto.

Here is the question: do you need reliable transportation? If the answer is no, then I can find you an early Alfa which is an amazing piece of art. Had you asked me when I was buying them, I could have found you a zagato body Alfa. In fact, I bought my 250 GTE for 40k. Now, I can offer you a rusty GTV. But ask yourself, what do you feel.
